Breakfast Power Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. almond, soy, skim or 1% milk
  • 1 Tablespoon natural peanut or almond butter
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup baby carrots (if using a Vitamix or other powerful blender)
  • 2 cups fresh kale or spinach
  • ½ banana, frozen
  • 1 cup frozen berries

(Makes 24 ounces)

Directions

Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and smooth.

Tip: Drink 16 ounces of the smoothie for breakfast and 8 ounces for your mid-morning snack!
